Jesse Esparza is an actor, writer, and comedian from Sacramento, California. He moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where he began studying at UCB.

Jesse is a writer on the UCB Maude Team Bombardier. He was a performer on the UCB Mess Hall Team BAD SEED and a writer on the Maude Team ALL IN. He wrote, directed, and produced "Tonya Harding The Musical", in 2014, and wrote, directed, and starred in the 2016 UCB show "CarteLOL".

Jesse was a writer for the 2015 CBS Diversity Showcase and was chosen as one of the writers in the 2017 National Hispanic Media Coalition Writers Program.

His spec script was chosen as one of the best in the 2015 Staffing Survey, and he was a finalist for the 2018 Imagine Impact Writers Program.

Jesse got a call back for Harold auditions once in 2011.
