She described the item as in “like new condition” even though she used it to water the grass on her Silicon Valley mansion for a whole month. Meg Whitman’s lawn sprinkler was not in “like new condition”. (THEN) In 2001, when Meg Whitman used eBay, she listed a Singer sewing machine with a starting price of just $1.99. But Meg Whitman created a second fake eBay account called nickydiaz88 and bid up the price of the auction to almost $35. Even though auction winner ebaylover83 paid for the item using PayPal within 24 hours, Meg Whitman still left the buyer negative feedback.
