Waiting For Obama

President Barack Obama was inducted into Disney World's Hall of Presidents On July 4, 2009. This is the story of Presidents Washington, Lincoln, Hayes, Roosevelt (the one that's a Democrat), Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Reagan as they vie for the coveted spot next to the Hall's newest occupant in the days before their popular peer's arrival. Part political satire, part work-place comedy, this one-act play explores the legacy of these vaunted presidents and tests their knowledge of Disney movie lyrics.
