Pat Baer was born and raised in Northford, CT. He moved to NYC in 2001 and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Pat started out as an intern at UCB and became the Head of the Tech department in 2004. He started his improv training in September 2002, and has studied under various teachers including Sean Conroy, Kevin Mullaney, Charlie Todd, Billy Merritt, and Ian Roberts. Pat received the ECNY award for Best Technician in 2005, 2007, and 2008. Pat currently runs the annual 3 on 3 Improv Tournament, which is the first show he ever hosted for UCB. He is also the Head Tech at UCBEast, and the Technical Director of both UCBs. Pat spent 2 years performing on Harold Night with Bangs and Penthouse Riot. Currently, Pat curates and hosts 404ing It: Breaking (Down) the Internet, a monthly show about awesome things on the Internet.
