Dave Hill is a highly boneable performer/writer/musician/thinking man living in right here in town. If you see him at the grocery store or a sample sale, you shouldn't think twice about trying to engage him in light chit-chat. He is "open to it." Dave has appeared on several basic cable channels, including but not limited to the Sundance Channel, MTV, VH1, E!, TLC, Current TV, Mojo/INHD and Spike TV, and also all over the Internet like a motherfucker.  He has written for the New York Times, HBO, Salon, Blender, VH1, the Huffington Post and a bunch of other mofos. He is also the author of "The Black Metal Dialogues", which is pretty much the greatest thing to happen to the Internet since that picture of that one guy with puke coming out of his nose. Despite all of this stuff, Dave still does his best to maintain a "regular guy vibe" for at least a small part of each day. Dave has been performing his pretty-much-monthly variety/chat show type thing the Dave Hill Explosion at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since November of 2005. He even made an incredible sign and everything. Everyone is pretty excited about it. Dave does not teach classes at the theatre, however he will school you on how to be pretty fucking sweet in general pretty much any time you want.
