Ben Greene (benbgreene.com) is a writer/performer from New York City, and he's a proud member of the UCB Maude team New Money. He is also one of the three founders of the sketch group Hamilton 100 and the head writer of the web series "The State of Us" on The Outside Joke's YouTube channel.
Though he grew up in the northeast, Ben has enormous love for the south, where he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, Ben did improv and sketch with the comedy group, CHiPs. Since moving to LA, Ben's been a part of UCB shows like Sketch Cram, Cagematch, Sketch Showdown, Jews Vs. Gentiles, UCB Variety Hour, Teddy Roosevelt's Presidential Funk Pad, and The Del Close Marathon.
As an actor, Ben has appeared in a number of national commercials and is featured in the upcoming Disney film, "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." In 2011, Ben was one of the winners of the Scriptapalooza TV Writing Competition, and in 2013, he was a finalist for the FOX-NYTVF Comedy Script contest for his original script, "The Good Samaritan's Club." Ben's writing has also been featured on websites like TheAwesomer.com, Tastefullyoffensive.com, and Funny or Die.
