Andrew Secunda was born and raised on the mean streets of Manhattan, where he learned to survive by changing the subject during muggings.   He has been a performer and teacher at the UCB Theatre since its inception in New York, performing in Feature Feature, The Stepfathers, Tracers, Assscat, and currently in UCB-LA with Soundtrack and the legendary improv troupe, The Swarm, of which he is a founding member.   He has appeared in such films as THE OTHER GUYS and MY IDIOT BROTHER, and on the TV shows FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS, THE OFFICE, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, and THE LEAGUE.  He created the network sitcom LOVE, INC. with Busy Philipps, which ran for a full season until UPN cancelled itself. He also wrote for LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN, for which he was nominated for two Emmys and won two WGA awards. His most recent work as a director includes webisodes for CHILDRENS HOSPITAL ("What If?"), and the IGN.com webseries GAME SHOP, which he highly recommends to nerds of all types.  He currently writies on ABC's THE GOLDBERGS, mining his extensive personal experience with a shouty, angry family.
