Paul W. Downs is a writer and performer. He is one half of the comedy duo Paulilu with Lucia Aniello (paulilu.com). Paul plays Trey on Comedy Central's "Broad City", for which he is also a writer.
Paul was named one of Backstage's "10 To Watch", Funny or Die & Splashlife's "30 Under 30", and "Best Emerging Comic" at the Excellence In Comedy (ECNY) Awards and was a New Face at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.
At UCB Paul can be seen monthly at Maude Night on house sketch team New Money and in his solo show Full-Blown Downs, the second part of a trilogy (yes) that began with The Paul Downs Syndrome, named "Best of NY Sketch" in the 2010 New York Comedy Festival, a TONY Critic's Pick, and an ECNY nominee for Best Solo Show.
A member of former Harold Teams Whorenado and Penthouse Riot, Paul has been a guest improviser in The Soundtrack, with UCB house team MOTHER, and appeared in Comedy Death Ray, Beneath Gristedes, The High School Talent Show, and CINNABONANZA!, among others. 
A graduate of Duke University, Paul studied theater and was a member of Duke University Improv (D.U.I.) and sketch group Inside Joke.
