Christian Capozzoli is an American actor, writer and improviser. He has a B.F.A. in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College and a Masters in Literature and Education from Harvard University. He did not pursue film or theatre until his late 20s when he discovered improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. A decade later Christian Capozzoli's improvisation methods are taught the world over. He has worked along side of legendary comedic instructors Mick Napier, Charna Halpern and Armando Diaz to name a few. He has had the fortune to work with top comedic voices in TV and Film, including Stephen Colbert, Lena Dunham, Robert Smigel and Adam Sandler. In addition to novels and screenplays, he has written for and appeared in several pilots for Comedy Central, HBO, MTV, and Amazon. In 2014, Capozzoli debuted Nutso Facto at UCB, a one-man sketch show with so many moving parts that the Daily News described it as, "the equivalent of doing open-heart surgery on Venus Williams as she plays a doubles match at Wimbledon." Capozzoli continues to tour with his critically acclaimed show 4TRACK. He travels instructing workshops exploring his Aerodynamics of Yes at improv festivals, schools and corporations, and is currently prototyping an improv curriculum for NYC high schools. He has spent the last 6 years performing on UCB House Team BUCKY and TAKE IT PERSONAL.
