Aubrey Plaza is originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Plaza is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She currently stars in NBC Emmy nominated and critically acclaimed comedy series Parks and Recreation as April Ludgate. Most Recently she was seen in the The Handjob, written and directed by Maggie Carey.  Past credits include Ten Year, Damsels in Distress, Safety Not Guaranteed, Portlandia,  Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,  Funny People, Mystery Team, The Jeannie Tate Show, and 30 Rock. Plaza has been performing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004.
