Neil Casey has been performing at the UCB Theatre since 2001 and teaching since 2007. He has improvised in dozens of main stage shows at the UCB including Monkeydick, [i]Instant Cinema[/i], Death By Roo Roo, and [i]ASSSSCAT[/i]. He also improvises as one quarter of Krompf and one half of the [b]Two Man Movie[/b] and the shorter of the duo [b]Casey & Woods[/b]. Neil has written and acted in many sketch shows over the years including [i]Your Favorite Thing[/i], [i]Neil Casey's Sentimental Irish Christmas[/i] and [i]Small Men[/i] He has directed dozens of shows including [i]Katie Dippold's One-Woman Murder Mystery[/i], [i]God's Pottery Saves the World[/i], [i]Waiting For Obama: A Night at the Hall of Presidents[/i] and many other sketch reviews, variety shows, showcases, and monthly house team productions. Neil wrote for Season 38 of [b][i]Saturday Night Live[/i][/b], Season 2 of [b][i]Inside Amy Schumer[/i][/b], and Season 3 of [b][i]Kroll Show[/i][/b]. He has been nominated for two WGA Awards and [b]two Prime-Time Emmy Awards[/b]. He has appeared on [i]Saturday Night Live[/i] on NBC in a giraffe costume, [i]Fat Guy Stuck in Internet[/i] on Adult Swim, [i]Inside Amy Schumer[/i], [b][i]Broad City[/i][/b], [i]The League[/i] and [i]Kroll Show[/i] on Comedy Central, [b][i]Playing House[/i][/b] on USA and on the big screen in Derrick Comedy's [i]Mystery Team[/i], the upcoming [i]Brother's Keeper[/i] and [i]Fort Tilden[/i] which won the the Grand Jury Award at the 2014 SxSW Film Festival. Neil has a degree in English with a concentration in Drama and a minor in Theatre from the University of Delaware where he studied stage directing under internationally renowned director and Brecht scholar Dr. Heinz-Uwe Haus. He studied improv under Armando Diaz, Michael Delaney, Kevin Mullaney, Owen Burke, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh.
