Alex is a youthful actor/singer/funny lady who always knew that she wanted to play pretend. At UCB, Alex has studied under the watchful eyes of Ari Voukydis, Jordan Klepper, Ben Ramaeka, Brandon Scott Jones, Laura Grey, Gavin Speiller, Abra Tabak, Will Hines and most recently, Brandon Gardner in The Improvised Play ASP class. Way back in her day (circa. the early 2000s) Alex attended the esteemed Bronx High School of Science and honed her vocal ability with the also esteemed Young People's Chorus of New York City. While schlepping through the snow at Cornell University, Alex developed a passion for improv comedy performing regularly with Cornell's all improv comedy troupe, The Whistling Shrimp. Now all grown up, Alex has performed in classical theatre productions, musical theatre productions and sketch comedy shows at venues such as the Goodspeed, Hudson Warehouse, Vital Theatre and Upright Citizen's Brigade (this place!). Alex is a proud daughter of her mother and father. P.S. Check out her website! www.alexrviola.com
