Mike Lane is an actor, writer and improviser originally from Alamo, CA. After college, he decided to do what any reasonable history major would do - move to New York to do improv. At UCB, he has studied under and learned a whole lot from Jeff Hiller, Chelsea Clarke, Gavin Speiller, Kevin Hines, Doug Moe, Jordan Klepper, Michael Delaney, Shannon O'Neill, Erik Tanouye, and Becky Drysdale. He performs sketch with the very talented group, Boat Comedy (www.boatcomedy.com). They also make really great videos. Check them out. He promises it'll be a good time. He is also a proud member of the Maude Team, Alamo. His UCB credits include Boat: Comedic Sketches, NBC-UCB Diversity Scholarship Winner, Why We Broke Up, Maude Night's Dinner, The Movie, The Three Hander, and Anagrams. Outside of the UCB Theater, his credits include the San Francisco Sketchfest, Chicago Sketchfest, Toronto Sketchfest, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, Comedy Central Stages, Above Average Network, UCBcomedy.com, officialcomedy.com, and some colleges. He also likes ska-punk, so he could talk to you until the morning light about the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
