Sal Gentile is a writer/performer based in New York. He is currently a producer for Late Night with Seth Meyers and a performer on the UCB house improv team Apollo. He has also written for the house sketch teams Supereasy and Absolutely. Previously he was a writer/producer for the late night talk show Up Late with Alec Baldwin. Sal has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and in various web series created by UCB writers and performers. Other UCB credits include: The Livia Scott Sketch Program, The Documentary at UCB East, Sketch Cram and Movie Cram, "Get Rich Quick: Overnight: Now!" a sketch show he co-wrote and co-starred in with Matthew Brian Cohen, and more. Sal has also been a producer for "Up w/ Chris Hayes," where he produced segments featuring some of his comedy idols, such as Michael Ian Black. A video series he wrote and produced for PBS called "Presidentiality" was an Official Honoree of the 2012 Webby Awards. And he's been a guest on a bunch of fun radio shows and podcasts, such as "The Leonard Lopate Show" on WNYC, "Unlimited Lives" on SiriusXM, "Lifescrapers" and "The Shauncast." He likes to talk about comics, baseball, politics and Star Trek.
