Monika Smith was born and raised in Toronto, that''s right she's Canadian. She started modeling at a young age under Ford and Elite until she realized she likes food and smiling too much. She earned a B.A. at The University of Toronto, then moved to Hollywood. Now, she is working as a writer and actor in L.A.

She's performed with The Second City Toronto Touring Company, and at Second City L.A., iO Chicago, iO West, Bad Dog Theatre, Theatre Sports, UCB LA, the Chicago Improv Festival, the Del Close Marathon at UCB NY and more. She has also performed in many plays including The Vagina Monologues in Toronto where she had multiple orgasms on stage to an audience that did not include her parents because of it.

Monika can be seen online in the superdeluxe.com short films Snuz Brothers, and on some Stupid Face videos that she has never seen, and some wonderful commercials that have never aired in America. She wrote for two wonderful pilots for HBO that never aired, seriously, you missed The Untitied Carl Lewis Show...  She performs around LA in some lovely improv groups, and wrote and co-starred in the Quick 'N Dirty Musical: Doggy Style... Monika was a member of the UCB LA Harold team The Galleria, and is now a member of the harold team Hugboat.
