Tim Kalpakis

Tim Kalpakis is an American comedy writer and member of the Los Angeles sketch group The Birthday Boys. He has been writing and performing at UCBTLA since 2006 in shows such as Hotdoggin'(directed by Neil Campbell and Paul Rust), Comedy Death-Ray, The Not Inappropriate Show with Bob Odenkirk, Charlyne Yi's Music Box, and The Birthday Boys monthly sketch show. He has also appeared at the MontrealJust for Laughs Festival, The LA Comedy Festival, and UCB's Ultimate Comedy Bash, as well as the New York, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco Sketchfests. He will be returning to the San Francisco Sketchfest in 2011 as a member of the new sketch group Gentlemen's Club, featuring Bob Odenkirk.

Tim's writing credits include the 2010 MTV Movie Awards with Aziz Ansari, the 2009 MTV Movie Awards with Andy Samberg, and Ham Hat. He currently coaches the UCB Maude team Up, Up, Up!

The Birthday Boys can be seen at UCBTLA performing a brand new sketch show the first Wednesday of every month with A Kiss From Daddy.
