Alan Lebetkin
Alan Lebetkin is a comedian, writer and producer from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After graduating from from Duke University, he moved to Los Angeles where he spent the next 4 years honing his voice as a stand-up comedian, all the while training and improving his screenwriting skills at the Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West theaters.
Today, Alan writes and produces comedy across many different genres, including sketch, web series, short films, features, stand-up, internet shorts, and hard-to-classify PowerPoint pieces. He dedicates most of his time to his iO West headliner sketch team Super Kudzu, and to writing and producing film projects for Language Arts Films, a company he co-founded with director Scott Garner. After debuting their crowd-pleasing short film THE HINDENBURGLAR on the festival circuit, Alan and Scott are now developing a full slate of film projects including a 30-minute short and a pitch-black comedy feature.
When not doing comedy, Alan enjoys working out, listening to hip hop, fixing computers, and creating graphics and websites.
