Armen Weitzman was born in Los Angeles sometime in the 80’s. Reared in the Pacific Palisades, his adolescence was idyllic. His backyard was home to Camp Armen, a real, functional sleep-away camp where his friends could play and express themselves, usually with the phrase, “I can not believe anyone’s parents would pay for this.” In high school, Armen evinced a profound talent for self-promotion coupled with a passable talent for acting. This precise combination has a storied history of being coddled by Emerson College, where Armen gained admission following his graduation. “I’ve arrived at the sacred arts institution that hath gifted cinema with Gina Gershon; I shall apply myself with all the studiousness demanded of a young thespian majoring in Sitcom Auditioning,” said Armen, alighting upon campus his first day, adding, “See ya later, suckers,” when he dropped out a year later.“Good,” remarked Armen’s dad, when $40,000 tuition bills for a college that would accept Armen ceased arriving at his house. Armen’s short stint in academia was followed by the start of what will surely be an epic career in the biz. His twin big breaks were his starring role the critically adored short film, The King of Central Park, and the shamelessly Rushmore-plagiarizing Kyocera cell phone ad campaign. In the years since, momentum has not abated, as Armen has secured a recurring role on the hit The Sarah Silverman Program, and has appeared in the middling School for Scoundrels, Ocean’s 13 (I didn’t see it), and David Wain’s upcoming feature comedy (further info unavailable at press time). Armen is also a member of the best young sketch comedy team in Los Angeles, Hendershaw, and co-created and co-starred in their hit show Bros Before Girls, which has played to thunderous reception at UCB Theaters on both coasts. His personal passion project is availing himself of any excuse to climb into his giant rabbit costume and transform into his beloved character Cuddle Bear.  You will love Armen. You can’t not.
