Steven Slate

[headshot] Steven Slate performs long-form improv and sketch comedy all over NYC. He created and performed in the show TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORIES with BIG TOBACCO and Director Bobby Moynihan at the UCB. With DEATH LEAGUE TEA PARTY he brought the one-act monoscene show ONE LUMP OR TWO to amazed audiences at the New York Frigid Fest under director Neil Casey. He was a regular performer in CRACKED OUT, and is a producer/writer/performer in ANDY ROCCO'S HIPSTER SHOW, and UNDERGROUND AMERICANA. Some other notable appearances are UCB's ONE NIGHT STAND, and THE NIGHTS OF OUR LIVES (a Time Out NY critics pick).

Steven has directed videos for Heavy.com, and currently directs and produces the award winning web soap EMPIRE, which features several stars of daytime tv. He's also appeared in a few commercials, LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON, and a few episodes of adult swim's FAT GUY STUCK IN INTERNET playing various absurd internet inhabitants. He also worked in production for Fat Guy where he puppetteered a bearded clam and an anthropomorphic piece of shit.

Steven has been a DJ since the age of 15, having played major events all over the northeast.
