Matty Smith

[headshot] Matty Smith is a writer and performer originally from Phoenix, Arizona. After studying stuff at Stanford University, he moved to Los Angeles with hopes of creating the next Two and a Half Men. Matty has studied sketch and improv comedy with the UCB, iO West, and Groundlings theatres in Los Angeles. He writes and performs monthly with Up, Up, Up!, one of the UCB's best sketch teams. He also wrote and starred in the the sell-out hit Matty & Jack: Adventure to Adventure Mountain and the musical Revolution: The Ballad of Young Abraham at UCB, in addition to writing and performing for What's Going On, Sketch Cram, and various other shows at the theatre. He also directs shorts for the UCB production team Fix. Other credits include staff writing for FX, writing and producing for FunnyOrDie.com and Maker Studios, and appearances in several national commercials.
