Doug Jones

Doug Anthony Jones was born in Canada and raised in Los Angeles. Doug began studying at UCB LA when the theatre opened in 2005 and appeared in various shows such as Sketch Cram, Dadquest, and Americas Best Comic. His very first improv group Fiffle Fooffers went on to win Cagematch for a record 21 consecutive weeks in a row and he performed at the Del Close Marathon in New York with UCB Harold teams "Cabbages & Kings" and "Hey, Uncle Gary!"

 

Between 2007-09 he appeared in People Mover and Disneyland, two original sketch shows which he wrote exclusively for the UCB stage. His first one man show How to Enterprise was performed to a sold out crowd at the Purple Onion as part of the 2010 San Francisco Sketchfest. He has written for the nationally syndicated and XM Satellite Radio comedy program The Phil Hendrie Show, as well as for Funny or Die and UCBComedy.com.

 

As an actor Doug has been seen on Parks and Recreation (NBC), 10 Dates From Hell (TBS), and Stupidface (Fuel TV), and ShopNation (Pilot). He has appeared in over a dozen TV ads including MapleStory, Rhapsody, Microsoft, Pedigree (2009 Super Bowl ad), McDonalds, Activision, Digiorno, a comedy short for ESPN Sportscenter, and more.
