Ron Babcock

[headshot]
Ron Babcock has been studying and performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in LA since its opening in 2005. He has written and performed in numerous (ehn, about 15 or so) sketch shows there and was also on the UCB improv Harold team, Cabbages and Kings.

He has performed standup all over the country and was a winner in Bud Friedman's Starseekers competition and at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He has also appeared at the San Francisco Sketchfest.

He co-founded the award-winning Modest Proposal Magazine [mpempire.com] and has also written for the book Look At My Striped Shirt! [lookatmystripedshirt.com], Chunklet Magazine [chunklet.com], ThePhatPhree.com [thephatphree.com] and the article “Facebook Pages We’d Like to See” [pcworld.com] for PCWorld [pcworld.com], which received over half a million views online. His videos have been featured on the front pages of FunnyorDie [funnyordie.com], iFilm [ifilm.com], HBO’s Runawaybox [runawaybox.com] and UCBComedy.com.

He is also embarrassingly good at devilsticks [ronbabcock.com], thanks to a belief in high school that juggling would make me cool. Spoiler alert, it did.

He also has a fancy pants website, www.ronbabcock.com [ronbabcock.com]
