SHONALI BHOWMIK is the leader of the indie rock band Tigers and Monkeys for which she is the songwriter, singer, and guitar player. She is also one of the leaders of Atlanta's Ultrababyfat which was featured on tour with David Cross in the DVD "Let America Laugh." Her bands have shared the stage with PJ Harvey, The Shins, and Sleater Kinney. Her music may be heard in the Shac short films for which she composes signature instrumental tracks. She does commercial work and may be seen in several sketches on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." Shonali is also an attorney and a member of the Georgia Bar Association.
