Mike Cavanaugh

Mike Cavanaugh is an improviser and actor living in NYC and has studied and performed at the UCB since 2001. He has studied improvisation with Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Bob Dassie, Michael Delaney, Christina Gausas, Peter Gwinn, Billy Merritt, Kevin Mulaney and others. His past UCB credits include Extravaganza!!! The Musical, JTS Brown/Cat's Cradle, and Airport '07.

In addition to improv, Mike has performed in FaustNYC at The Actor's Playhouse for the NYC Fringe Festival and has starred in the short films, Gutterball and Epilogue. Mike currently performs with Sherpa and with Hot Lather in "As the Diamond Burns," an improvised soap-opera. Mike can play some nice jazz saxophone and grow a mean beard.
