Maureen Bharoocha

Maureen Bharoocha is a Los Angeles based writer/director. Born and raised on the beaches of sunny Santa Barbara, Maureen battled brutal winters in adulthood to receive her MFA in film from Boston University.

Maureen has studied Improv at UCBTLA since 2009. She is a director on the UCBTLA Beta House Team Muddleberry. She is currently writing and directing a short film series for the LA-based bakery Sprinkles Cupcakes, shoots videos for Dead Kevin Sketch and directs for the comedy duo Uncle Mustache. She has performed Improv on teams Hot Rod Rumble and Ladyfingers.


Maureen also does a weekly movie podcast called Maureen and Trisha see a Movie.
