Eric GersenEric Gersen an actor, writer, improviser, and musician based out of New York City. He is a proud member of the Lloyd Team Hoops.
Eric has been studying improv and sketch at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center since late 2009. He has had the pleasure of learning from such talented teachers as Kevin Hines, Will Hines, Michael Delaney, Chris Kelly, Jordan Klepper, Porter Mason, Dyna Moe, Brandon Gardner, Chelsea Clarke, John Frusciante, Erik Tanouye, Betsy Stover, and (briefly, but memorably) Amy Poehler.
Eric is also an experienced musician, and has played piano for a variety of comedy performances around the country. He has played several shows at UCB including Clue: The Improvised Edition and David Lynch's Blue Valentine's Day Special, and is an occasional accompanist for UCB's musical improv show Diamond Lion. Besides rehearsing and playing for several other musical improv teams around the city, Eric also accompanies the musical improv classes at the UCB Training Center.
Eric can be seen improvising around town on the indie teams Code Red, Book, Singsong, and The Improvised Philip K. Dick.
