Dan Gregor, with his production trio, Chubby Skinny Kids (Dan Gregor, Doug Mand & Adam Pally) has written and developed pilots for ABC/Touchstone ("We Are Internet Millionaires"), CW/Paramount ("Sell Outs") and FX ("Into The Mild"). They've written a feature film for Universal Pictures & Imagine Entertainment and another for Endemol Productions. Additionally he's been a writer/producer for the E! "TV Wasteland" sketch project. As a founding member of the award winning sketch troupe, The Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz, founded at New York University and housed at the UCB  theater, he performed sketch since 2002. With Hammerkatz, Dan has produced, written and performed in countless sketch shows in festivals and theaters all over the country, having won numerous accolades, including being named BEST SKETCH TROUPE in NYC (2005) by the prestigious ECNY Awards. He's performed improv on house harold teams at both the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Magnet Theater, studied with Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Armando Diaz, Ali Farahnakian, Michael Delaney & many others. Currently he teaches sketch at the UCB, and writes for and occasionally directs the UCB's premiere monthly sketch showcase, BENEATH GRISTEDES. Additionally, Dan has worked in production/ research on Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 and on Robert Smigel's never released Triumph political documentary. Following that he worked in HBO's Latenight Comedy Development on such shows as Da Ali G Show, Real Time w/Bill Maher, One Night Stand, and many others.
