Eli Newell
Eli was raised by friendly giants in Oregon. He moved to the east coast to study at Wesleyan University in CT and then headed down the road to New York City where he spent ten years performing on a whole mess of teams at UCBNY and on the road with the UCBTourCo. Eli started showing up on TV while still living in New York - he was a regular on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and made appearances on the Daily Show, Best Week Ever, ESPN's Cheap Seats and most notably played Ryan on Jon Glaser's Adult Swim show, Delocated.
Since moving to LA, Eli has been writing for a sketch show you've never heard of and can be seen on the Jimmy Kimmel show as well as General Hospital, a pretty sweet Nissan commercial and a whole mess of Funny or Die videos.
The highlight of Eli's year is emceeing the Firecracker Wiener Nationals every Fourth of July up in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. You've probably heard of it if you're a wiener dog.
