From Franklinton, Louisiana, Amber Sophia Nelson is an actor and writer in New York. She first started improvising in Louisiana dive bars and coffee shops with her incredible short form groups: Family Dinner and Nut Punch. Now she is a member of the indie teams Fat Penguin, Snacktime and the improv/sketch group Kape. She can be seen improvising, storytelling, online in various sketches, and soon to be in the independent feature Kids Are Right. She is delighted to study under and be apart of UCB theatre in New York.
