Caitlin Tegart
Caitlin Tegart is a writer, performer and teacher who has been studying at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since 2006. Caitlin wrote two concurrently running shows at the UCB: the sketch show "How Rude: Tim & D'Arcy Find the 90s" and the one-act play "Waiting for Obama: A Night at the Hall of Presidents," in which animatronic presidents come alive to discuss Civil Rights and the Lion King (you know, like they do in real life).
As a proud alumni of the UCB sketch team Stone Cold Fox, Caitlin wrote for Maude Night (creating a brand new show every month) as well as Stone Cold Fox's hour-long election special,"That One: Maverick Political Comedy from a Team of Mavericks," the sketch Christmas special “O Holy Maude Night,” and “A Midsummer Night's Sketch Party Summer Jam.” She also writes for UCB's weekend night sketch show “Beneath Gristedes.”
Caitlin performs with independent improv dynamos Pony Party and Pump It Up! and was a cast member of the improv shows "In A World..." and "Mono Y Mono." Much like Vivica A. Fox, Caitlin is from Indiana.
