Karin Hammerberg

Karin is an actress, writer, person. She moved to New York in 2010 and started taking classes at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. She has studied under Gavin Speiller, Ari Voukydis, Neil Casey, Gavin Speiller (yes, again), Kevin Hines, Will Hines and Michael Delaney. Karin started doing improv in high school taught by Second City. She kept that love alive in college playing with George Washington University's sketch and improv group, receSs. After graduation she became an ensemble member at Washington Improv Theater (WIT) playing with Caveat and onesixityone. Karin is also a member of Mythical Newsroom a festival team comprised of her best and funnest friends. They have performed at festivals all over the country, and made their international debut in Toronto, CANADA.

She is has been on the Harold teams, Mr. Crime and Surfing. And now she is super stoked to be on Guthrie.

She wants to publicly say thank you to her parents as she thinks this will finally make her their favorite child.
