Ryan Karels

[headshot] Ryan Karels improvises with Grandma's Ashes and has played on Harold Night with Decoster, Creep and Filth. He plays with the Soundtrack and co-hosts the Indie Cage Match. His podcast show, The Roguing plays monthly at the UCB East. Ryan is a member of Krompf. Past shows at the UCB include Radio Rogue, Don't Honk at Me, The Ol' Factory, Intellectual Yoga, Your Favorite Thing, After School Super Power Hour, and Theatre Robot Magika. He is an Artistic Associate of Les Freres Corbusier (Hell House, Heddatron, Boozy, The Franklin Thesis) and was in the original Off-Broadway cast of Gutenberg, The Musical! In 2011, he was named in the Huffington Post as being a comedian from North Dakota. Since 2006 he has taught improvisation at the Williamstown Theater Festival. He once rode a horse on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
