Kulap Vilaysack

Kulap Vilaysack is pronounced, Cool-op V-lie-sock. You might have seen Kulap in "The Office". You probably hadn't seen her as a cast member in the sketch show "Asia Street Comedy", because who watches The Asian American Network (AZN)? She began studying improv soon after an acting teacher upon reviewing her taped performance in front of the entire class - remarked, "Unfortunately actresses need to be attractive..." Things were much more pleasant at the Second City Training Center and Kulap completed their Conservatory program. With members of her class she formed the sketch group Baby Hungry , who put up one good show before they split up. At UCB she has studied under Matt Walsh, Matt Besser, Danielle Schneider, Craig Anton, Seth Morris, Owen Burke & Shira Piven. She has appeared in Comedy Death-Ray , Rap Crisis Center , See You Next Tuesday , UCB Presents... , Jimmy Pardo's Dance Party & Match Game .
