Ben Wietmarschen

[headshot] Ben Wietmarschen (pronounced like wheat-martian), is a comedy writer, performer, and improviser living in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently a writer for the UCB Maude team, FAMBLY.

He is a contributing writer for The Onion News Network on IFC, co-writes the current Channel 101 show My Dad the Girl Bike [ny.channel101.com] with his three-man sketch group, "Plain White Rolls", and has written and/or performed in the UCB shows Sketch Cram and Cool Show 4 Teen Girlz. He maintains a twitter account (@benwietmarschen) as well as a tumblr account (benwietmarschen.tumblr.com) all by himself.

Ben was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. He graduated with an English and Education degree from Kent State University where he ran Cross Country and Track for the Golden Flashes.
