Joe Spellman is an actor and writer currently living in New York. Born in Staten Island. Raised in Cheshire, CT. Joe Spellman has been performing all his life. He graduated from Hofstra University, where he acted in many different stage productions. Sick of that, he decided to do improv, and has been taking classes at the UCB since 2005. He has studied under Chris Gethard, Billy Merritt, Michael Delaney, Jason Mantzoukas, and Matt Walsh. Joe has performed with many teams in the past including Death Leage Tea Party, Pink Champagne and fromer UCB Harold Team, Twelve Thousand Dollars. Currently, Joe is involved in the UCBTs Maude Night, as a writer/perfromer on the sketch team Stone Cold Fox, turning out a brand new sketch show every month. He can be seen perfoming improv with Sherpa twice a month at various luxurious downtown venues. He is a huge fan of cats, and would be a huge fan of dogs, but alas, he cannot be.
