Steve Szlaga

Steve Szlaga is a proud native of Detroit. He received a BA in Television from Columbia College Chicago, and would have had a minor in Acting if he hadn't dropped Body Movement II. In 2007, Steve moved to LA where he studied improv, sketch, and the art of unceremoniously quitting crappy jobs.

Steve is having a blast and a half writing for the Maude team Nephew. Other blasts and a halves at UCB have included Harold Night, Noises On, and Quick & Funny Musicals. He wrote and starred in both The Mysterious Affair at Mr Bendernagle's Luau and his solo show, Steve Szlaga's 23 Roommates.

Steve is also a volunteer for the Young Storyteller's Foundation, where he mentors elementary school students in screenwriting. He is also an avid runner, and you've probably seen him running down Franklin, totally in the zone.
