Rob Getzschman
Rob Getzschman is a member of UCB's beta team Pantsuit. After a childhood in musical theater and commercial television in the Midwest, Rob moved east to play folk music in New York City. Then he moved to DC to study film and promoted a tour of DC indie bands championing DC voting rights. Recently he moved west to make movies in Los Angeles. He's recorded over eight albums of music, including an album for senior citizens (featuring the breakout single, "It's Time To Stop Driving"), produced the variety-sketch show "TV Dinner" at the Improv, and performed in a dubious off-Broadway reinterpretation of Jean-Paul Satre's "The Flies" set in Nazi Germany (not a comedy). For the business networking site LinkedIn, Rob hosted a web video series that covered the Cannes Film Festival, explored professional stress with Stanford's Dr. Robert Sapolsky, and discussed digital content distribution with the CEOs of Hulu and JibJab. And last week he saw Queen Latifah at Urth Caffé.www.robgetzschman.com [robgetzschman.com]
