Shannon O'Neill

[headshot]

Shannon O'Neill is a writer, performer and teacher at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

She can be seen every Friday night with The Stepfathers, an improv powerhouse of nerds and dirty dawgs. She is a member of the sketch group Thunder Gulch, a UCB Theatre house team that performs a new show the second Monday of every month. If you hang out on Sundays you might see her in Asssscat 3000 or if you like to travel the country and introduce yourself to college coeds you'll probably see her with the UCB Touring Company.  If you had a time machine, you could travel backwards over the past 10 years and see her perform with improv super groups, Optimist International, Mailer Daemon and fwand. She also performed with The Joe Ross Tribe, but lets be honest, nobody remembers them and if they do they don't want to talk about it. That time machine would also give you the chance to see her perform in a poop ton of sketch shows like Braintown, Sketch Show, NeoTokyo Girl Cursh 2040, The Dogs of St. Christopher, Double X , Soundtracks Live, Laid UP! and Tick Tick Tick. Wait, do you have a time machine? If so, please use it on something better, like not letting Superman ride that horse.

Shannon has been with the theatre for so long, she is practically a ghost. Please don't try to put your hand through her though, that would be weird.

Shannon is currently working on her one person show "Prison Freaks" which is set to debut on Friday November 13th.

When she's not haunting the UCB Theatre, Shannon hangs out with her husband and adopted dog Luz. The three of them like to bet on the ponies.
