Rene Gube

Rene Gube is a writer and performer from San Diego, CA, now in Hollywood.

Since moving to LA, Rene has studied with Upright Citizens Brigade, and the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies.

At Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre LA, Rene performs every Monday with his Harold Team John Velvet. Other UCB credits include writing &/or performing for Hip Hop Penguin: Droppin' Truth Bombs in Yo Earholes, CDR Sketch, The Leopold & Loeb Variety Hour, Let's Do This!, Sketch Cram, Quick & Funny Musicals, UCB Mixtape, and Not Too Shabby.

When not at UCB, you can catch Rene performing sketch or improv at LA indie-comedy venues such as TNT, Crashbar, and Room 101 (a show he co-hosts with his improv group Shakedown, www.room101comedy.com [room101comedy.com]).
