Alex Scordelis
Alex Scordelis is a writer, performer and director based in New York City. He currently writes for Onassis, a UCB Maude Team. He's also the co-creator and co-writer (along with Julie Klausner) of The Cat Whisperer, a web series on Funny or Die. In 2009, Alex co-authored Causing a Scene (HarperCollins), a book about Improv Everywhere, with Charlie Todd. His writing has appeared in numerous publications, including The Believer, Paper, Penthouse and Mental Floss. Alex is a former member of Thunder Gulch, and has written for and performed in many UCB shows including Monster Night Live, Pop Culture Apocalypse, The IT SUCKED! Awards, the I'm Cool Showcase, CageMatch, Tremendous Machine and The Brooks Brothers Clambake. He has studied sketch comedy writing at UCB with Dominic Dierkes, Michael Delaney and Eric Scott. A longtime fan of grunge music, Alex was thrilled to take his first stage dive at a Mudhoney concert in 2006.
