Angel Yau

[headshot] Angel Yau, a NYC based sketch comedian, storyteller and filmmaker. She started her comedy career unintentionally when she ran for a high school election. She wanted to be different and stand out so she sang a song with her guitar... even though she can't sing or play guitar... Her performances were apart of the 2011 Philly Sketchfest, 2010 Calgary Funnyfest, the 2011 & 2009 North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, the 2008 Seattle Sketchfest and the 2008 NYC Underground Comedy Festival and many more! She currently awkwardly jokes around NYC and performs regularly at the "cultural phenomenon" show-Mortified!, SketchBlock and at UCB (Not too Shabby, Dirtiest Sketch, CDR Sketch, numerous improv shows). She is on the UCB Beta Team SCRAPS. Don't let those credentials fool you though, she is still a very shy girl who will awkwardly ask if you want a piece of gum.
