Writer/performer Annie Mebane grew up in south Florida and attended Emerson College. After four years in Boston, she moved to LA because she missed palm trees and strip malls. She has trained at iOWest (where she performed with the House Harold Team Hey, Swayze!, Tres Mujeres, The Blue Velvet Lounge, and Brocked) and at UCBLA. Her original one act, She Always Told Me , was seen at the Fake Gallery and the Hudson Guild, where it earned LA Weekly's Go! She co-wrote and co-directed ITVFest 2006 Comedy Selection, Orastories, and is the producer/writer of two web series, Yoga Action Squad and Easy Bake Lovin' (which was seen last year on Comcast On Demand). In 2007 Dirty Step Stomp , a feature she co-wrote with her writing partner, Steve Basilone, sold to the Weinstein Company. Their last script, The Perfect Fit , is currently in development at Temple Hill. She's performed in several other plays and sketch shows around town, but I think you were watching Lost those nights. She is a proud member of the UCB Harold team Arts & Athletics.
