Joel Church-Cooper was born in Sacramento, the Midwest of California. At the age of 12 he moved to Santa Cruz, the only city that Berkeley considers too liberal. These environments have caused people to assume he's from Chicago and left Joel with a secret belief that any social ill can be solved with government money. Joel has studied and performed at UCB LA and IO West theaters for over three years. He is a member of the Maude team Old Man Girlfriend, as well as the co-creator of the web series Roommating (www.roommatingshow.com)
